The result of the debate was - deleted - SimonP 05:16, Mar 30, 2005 (UTC)
Inherently POV, no chance of improvement. Smoddy (tgec) 17:33, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete I disagree that this is inherently POV... we have very good well-referenced articles dealing with both the greatest and worst movies of all time. On the other hand, the current article is highly questionable. The artist seems to be real (though obscure), but the title of the alleged greatest painting ever doesn't Google at all besides Wikipedia mirrors. I'd say it's a deliberate hoax at worst, sad attempt to promote an obscure artist/painting at best. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 18:57, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. There is no credible eveidence for the painting in question. Zzyzx11 20:52, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. The artist might be notable, but the painting definitely isn't. Philthecow 21:11, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Likely hoax. Postdlf 23:09, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, not notable, possible hoax. Megan1967 05:22, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)
