[edit]Google searches seem to mix up three possible "John[s] of Cappadocia" [1], [2]:
- John of Cappadocia, patriarch of Constantinople, whom the current article is all about. [3] [4]
- John of Cappadocia, praetorian prefect under the Byzantine emperor Justinian I. His article is at John the Cappadocian now. [5] [6]
- a lesser known John of Cappadocia, praetorian prefect under the emperor Arcadius. [7] [8] [9]
Shall we put all three guys into one article? How shall we name the title if so? kt2 03:24, 28 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- Maybe the two prefects could be together...but the Patriarch and prefect under Justinian are important enough to have their own separate articles as they do now. I don't know anything about the prefect under Arcadius...is he article-worthy at all? Adam Bishop 03:26, 28 Oct 2003 (UTC)
