I've changed it to Con Hold from Con Gain, because by-elections are ignored
UKIP Vote
[edit]Can anyone confirm the UKIP vote number, please?
We have currently 478. The Times and Daily Telegraph have 12078 which looks wrong.
The BBC and Corby Borough Council have 1278 which looks reasonable. --Cavrdg 07:09, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
- The Electoral Commission gives 1,278 as the figure from the Returning Officer and I have therefore changed the table (belatedly!) David | Talk 12:07, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Name of constituency
[edit]The name of the constituency is 'Corby' -- see [1]. The current MP has a habit of referring to it as 'Corby and East Northamptonshire', but this is not accurate. Duncan Keith (talk) 20:57, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
- Quite right. Many constituencies are named for one town or settlement whist ignoring all others. It's not Wikipedia's responsibility to 'improve' the work of the Boundary Commission for England. This constituency is called "Corby" and has been for some time. That's the end of it. doktorb wordsdeeds 21:55, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
- The name of the constituency has been renamed now Cal3000000 (talk) 18:00, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
