Pea Soup Tasty

[edit]

The article previously said that pea soup is tasty (which was marked as citation needed). While I do indeed think it's tasty, and looking at this article made me want to sit down with a big bowl of it, that's entirely subjective and not at all encyclopedic, so I've removed it. The section was specifically talking about use in Poland, especially in military settings, so if someone finds a source stating that it's popularly liked in that setting, and wants to re-add it in that specific sense, feel free. "In the United States, pea soup is merely one of many familiar kinds of soup." Adds no meaning, replace United States with any country and it's still true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KSiimson (talkcontribs) 12:01, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Title photo grinds my gears

[edit]

I am afraid this photo was not made the title photo with good faith in mind. Keep in mind soup is normally made with several additional ingredients and the title photo features a plain pea dish. 2A00:1FA0:46B3:ECF4:0:57:6A15:D101 (talk) 14:34, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Smoky food's recipe

[edit]

Recently, a Wikipeditor added this link: https://smokyrecipe.com/split-pea-soup-instant-pot/

I think this recipe is kinda decent to add... somewhere. Cheers. 2A00:1FA0:46B3:ECF4:0:57:6A15:D101 (talk) 17:16, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
