- Delete. There's no need to keep an empty husk of would-be data. Even if it were a real article, a collage of statistical snapshots would have dubious encylopaedic value: Average height of various demographic groups as of August 2004. - Delete: If all the information for every nation were compiled, we would have a list of facts -- exactly what you expect to find in a gazette. The concept of average height, what it means, the things that affect it are encyclopedic. A table of facts, on the other hand, is the function of an atlas or almanac. That, however, is assuming a perfect version of this article. The present case is incomplete, uncited, and US only (and yet labeled as if it were about the concept). Geogre 13:23, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

- Delete, as per Cyrius|✎. Average and normal are both concepts subject to a considerable number of factors. "Average" in North America, for instance, is rarely "average" in Africa. If someone can fulfil the potential of this topic, I applaud them, but this effort is pathetic. Denni☯ 01:45, 2004 Aug 18 (UTC)
- Delete. Appropriately quoted information (preferably also in a system of weights and measures understandable to people who can never remember how many ounces to a furlong, or whatever), might be useful in an article on human physiology or what ever, but not like this. I see someone coming and adding stuff like the average height of buildings in Venezuela, Pokemons etc.
