[edit]someone add the vulcano buono among his works
I couldn't find him at first in WP. I'd like to make a redirect from Lorenzo Piano to this one. But, I don't know how. So, if I botch it then, please fix. I also wonder if he's connected to the Biggi in Genoa. Kristinwt (talk) 02:32, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Renzo Piano not Senator Renzo Piano
[edit]The introduction lists the appellation of Renzo Piano before citing his name ("Senator Renzo Piano, Ufficiale OMRI ...". This is a typical "italian" way to introduce people which is clearly non-appropriate in an English-style article. For example, the Queen of England is presented as: "Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926[a]) is the constitutional monarch of 16 sovereign states). The same holds for Obama (Barack Hussein Obama II (Listeni/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States). Why does Renzo Piano deserve a different treatment?
I propose to amend the introduction as follows: Renzo Piano,(Italian: [ˈrɛntso ˈpjano]; born 14 September 1937), is an Italian Pritzker Prize-winning architect. ..."
The reference to his being a Senator or a member of a OMRI should be inserted in the body of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.92.153.10 (talk) 17:01, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
