"Americans like to experience anal sex and BDSM" if that's not intentionally provocative, and clearly trolling/vandalism, I don't know what is. We wouldn't even be questioning it if it was just an IP address. Since it's a logged-in user, we have a procedure to follow. I don't think that this vandal has created a log-in should be reason NOT to ban them when the entire body of work of the user is trolling/vandalism. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 18:11, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

But the bans and blocks policy only allows banning for "simple vandalism", which trolling generally isn't. Personally, I think a change of policy is in order because, until then, it would seem we have no way of getting rid of such characters. I can't understand why we tolerate trolls to the extent we do.
