Suggestion: The categories should each contain one or a just a few brief paragraphs summing up the main exegetes and their works, with numerous internal links to individual articles. The entries here should be brief in order to provide a useful overview (and will begin simply as lists, though they should eventually be expanded to provide at least some explanation). In-depth descriptions should be left for the specific linked articles.

Strongly disagree

IZAK, sorry, but I strongly disagree.

  • There should be a separate list for biblical exegesis specifically, especially one that categorizes things correctly for the history of Jewish biblical interpretation. Not just one "rabbinic literature" mish-mash of everything.
  • "Rabbinic literature" itself - should not be an article on anything and everything on the Jewish bookshelf, but specifically on the literature of the Tannaim and Amoraim.

I'm not going to push the second point, but I'm reverting the first point. But changing "biblical" to lower-case.

This material is all over Wikipedia. Meforashim, Rabbinic literature etc all duplicate the same. Redirect it is. JFW | T@lk 14:36, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
