Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zeke Hoskin
Appearance
Potential vanity page about some guy who has written some "humourous" songs, but he is unknown to amg, suggesting that he has not been published. Google has 442 hits.
I listed this earlier but could not create the page to put it on here, explaining the delay. Dunc_Harris|☺ 15:51, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- (removing the VfD header - no sign that it was ever on VfD and a Google search seems to suggest ample notability to merit inclusion.)
- which Jerzy(t) hopes he will reiterate here himself; Jerzy(t) takes the liberty of adding this here just in case, lest we be so unlucky to extend the record of failed communication on this listing. --Jerzy(t) 06:30, 2004 Jul 13 (UTC)

- Delete: Do we vote on what something is or what it could possibly be? Independent research shows that Zeke Hoskin has recordings and a moderately large fanbase in the Pacific northwest of the US and Canada. He appears to have significance. This article, however, is a small stub that points us to a homepage. It can be improved over the next few days, and I would cheerfully change my vote. Geogre 17:22, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, on the grounds that it's a substub with link and sets a bad precedent to be having such a thing about a borderline person. However, if this is expanded - please change my vote to keep. Ambivalenthysteria 06:47, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - not only because I created the darn page and think Mr. Hoskin is a notable writer of the sort of songs he does, but because I'm going to change the link from his main page (which is a bit of a sales pitch in places) to his lyrics/mp3 page, which is more interesting and also contains important text that can't be included here on copyright grounds. I agree it's a small stub, smaller even than the Esperanto page on him, if you leave aside the VfD notice, but I won't be able to do much expansion for about a week. Haruo 08:28, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
