While I would say compared to some of the other listing on the US companies list this company is not as notable, it is just as much if not more notable than plenty of others on the list. I suggest we come up with some kind of standard to determining what companies should be allowed on this list. There are plenty of other companies on this list that are not as notable as the one your remark about, so let us make sure we do not have double standards. mbbx6spp
Well, the best way for a company article to avoid being vfd-ed is for the article to note why the company is notable - what makes it unique. For example: largest in its field, notable projects/products, landmark legal cases, etc. (So, why is Bungii LLC notable?) If you know of other companies that are also/even more non-notable than this one, please feel free to add them as well to vfd. Also, I (and I expect other experienced Wikipedians as well) tend to get suspicious if such a "borderline" article is created by an anonymous user or a new user with very few edits to her/his credit. I personally do not care if this page is deleted, but I am flagging the other non-notable listings in the US companies page for deletion also using the same standard such Arryx and others. I unlike others do not have double standards. mbbx6spp 16:46 31 Jul 2004 (EDT)

For what it's worth, the other companies you are listing probably do fail, though not universally. I don't think anyone is accusing this company of being not-notable, nor accusing the author of vanity. Instead, what people are asking for is that the article explain significance, rather than reverting that task onto readers. If there is significance, then the article can be edited during its time on VfD (5 days), and many of the voters will change their votes. It is never meant to be a vindictive process or dismissive. Delete, unless a good case is made for notability before the VfD discussion period expires. Both the article and the company's website, http://www.bungii.com/solutions/softwareproducts.html , give little detail on precisely which companies are using their products. The website is very puzzling in this regard because it says things like "Bungii supplies a top five global hedge fund...," does not name the hedge fund, but includes a link to Citadel Investment Group on the same page. This gives the impression that Bungii is serving Citadel Investment Group, but does not say so. All of the projects mentioned on the website appear to be uncompleted work in progress: in reference to Dynegy, "The new system will be designed and developed..." It is difficult to determine what products, if any, the company offers. For example, under "Software products," we find that "Bungii's Finsignia team are developing products that make SEC EDGAR filing data much more accessible. To find out more about these products, visit Brahma and Vishnu product pages." These pages, however, merely say "Finsignia: Coming soon: the Product section."
