Just a couple points: this list of basic topics mentions nothing about nucleic acids or nucleic acid biochemistry, ignores genetics and cell biology, ignores bioenergetics as a topic, ignores intermediary metabolism as a topic. Can you say you've even begun to talk about biochemistry if the idea of a metabolic pathway is absent? Dwmyers 18:07, 11 Sep 2003 (UTC)
