User talk:P23~enwiki
Hi Mike. You say: "and you can't write worth shit. I'd fail you if I were a professor". To judge from the "you can't write worth shit", the proposition "if I were a professor" is not very likely, is it? I think I can breath easy. --Tagishsimon
You know, Mike, people would respect you more if you were honest, or at very least if you didn't act like we're all stupid. Maybe I couldn't prove in court that this is you, but that doesn't mean I'm fooled for an instant, and neither is anyone else. Didn't you notice that you can check the contributions of other users? P23 has only made three edits, and all of them were about you. That's about as obvious a sock puppet as I've ever seen.
Why do you bother? Chef Lord, P23, and AFK are all you. You and I both know it. The point is, editing from obvious sock puppet accounts only makes you look dishonest, since you don't fool anyone. Please pick a single account and stick with it. Tagishsimon's comments to you weren't nice, but you could have stood up like a man and answered him with your own identity. [edit]Pot kettle black! Let me remind you that we have a strict policy of no personal attacks here. How can you chastise someone for their comments on Mike Church's talk page then do much the same on their talk page?
I'm guessing here but I suspect you allowed your anger to get in the way of your better judgement. We all do that, I've done it a number of times myself but I usually manage to hit delete instead of save (thank God). Anyway, the best thing to do is not reply straight away. Sleep on it, calm down and post a polite yet to the point comment the next day. theresa knott 08:30, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called P23. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name P23~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
