some stuff to consider
[edit]- For example, a 30 degree source-to-waveguide misalignment would cause a loss proportional to some trig expression .
- Think of a photon as a spinning top that changes orientation as it travels down the waveguide (eg: thru reflection). It is the axis of rotation that is compared.
