In real life, I'm a "software engineer" for a small company in the field of industrial automation. I'm also finishing up my Physics Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. Around here, I plan on mostly acting as a general editor, clarifying language and fixing typos, but I may attempt to make a real contribution now and then. My biggest areas of knowledge and interest are math/science, popular music, and baseball.
