Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pinhel
Pinhel was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to keep.
Another apparently lost/orphaned VfD nom, as it doesn't appear to have ever been posted to the main page (based on lack of votes, and not being on "old"). Procedural/Keep--real place, tho' its next stop should probably be cleanup or needs expansion. Niteowlneils 01:10, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I stuck a cleanup on it, let's see if that takes first. Keep for the time being. --fvw* 01:31, 2004 Nov 25 (UTC)
- ...and I geo-stubbed it, added Category:Towns in Portugal (even though it's technically a concelho), and linked this article and pt:Pinhel to each other. Keep a real place with 10k population. For analogues, many bluelinked, see List of Concelhos of Portugal. Samaritan 02:02, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- What are we going to do about the contents, though? It's great that you guys want us to have an article on the place, but without attention it says "Is a place with good thinks." This is why I vote on article contents more than topics. Not that I'm fussing, but I hope there is a clean up procedure in place with the linking you've done, because these contents are scary. - Keep to make sure it doesn't get deleted. JesseW 08:03, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Comment. I have re-written it from info cribbed from the Portuguese Wikipedia[1], with some help from the Google translator. No longer needs cleanup, but could sure use some expansion. Now I need to go work on List of Concelhos of Portugal, as at least two I checked point to articles about other things by the same name. Niteowlneils 06:06, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, valid city stub. [[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 15:35, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- keep looks like a good start to me. -- WhiteDragon 22:23, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
