The podcast network Wondery has a series of dramatic re-enactments of the sinking. (They are very good.) Here is a link that may assist. – S. Rich (talk) 03:48, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Last survivors

[edit]

"As of January 2022, there are just two remaining survivors of the Indianapolis.[60]" The reference cited is dated 8 May 21 and says there were at that time five living survivors. Per https://www.facebook.com/USSIndianapolisOfficial there are indeed two remaining survivors -- Harold Bray and Cleatus Lebow -- but Facebook is of course not an acceptable source and someone will need to verify this. Will these suffice?

USS Juneau in lead

[edit]

The mention of the USS Juneau (CL-52) seems out of place in the lead. It seems to me that it would be better placed under "See also". Thoughts? Carguychris (talk) 19:38, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Carguychris, I agree that the mention of the USS Juneau ought to be in "See also" instead of the lead. Cullen328 (talk) 19:43, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No other responses, so I moved it. Carguychris (talk) 23:22, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
