Address
[edit]How would Ms. Harman be addressed? Ich bin Warm - Kronecker Delta 00:22, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- She would probably be addressed as "Mrs. Solictor"(it is quite ridiculous).
Would the Solicitor General be similar to the United States Surgeon General?
- No. There is, however, a United States Solicitor General, although the UK and US jobs are not entirely the same. -- ALoan (Talk) 11:46, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- The Solicitor General is addressed in court as "Mr Solicitor"
Hyphenated or not?
[edit]The title is "Solicitor General", and that form appears in the main text, but the list is header "Solicitors-General". Which is the correct form? This suggests the hyphenated version is correct, although it also suggests the unhyphenated "Attorney General" is also correct. So much for consistency. Wikipedia, at least, should if necessary choose one form for this article and use it and it alone. -- JackofOz (talk) 11:14, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
