Good work on Mirrors and Forks
[edit]I like what you've done with Mirrors and Forks, esspecially the colors on the GFDL compliance page. Good work. JesseW 02:29, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Sussex to do list
[edit]Hi, I agree with you that categories are better than making lists mannually, but we use lists when not all the articles have been created yet, which is the case for most of the counties in the UK (I think Dorset is the only county with a page on every town and parish). Also, I think all of the Towns categories should already be complete, as I think every town on the List of settlements with a town charter (I forget the exact location of the article) has an article on them. Just curious why it was necessary. Is there something to fill in Six Degrees of Separation? I guess the root at why I'm asking is the pages (small) number of pages pointing to Six Degrees of Separation looking for the film.... Cburnett 04:39, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Hope to see you back...
[edit]You haven't edited since May, so I'm just checking to see if you're still here. Hope it's just a temporary WikiBreak; I can really use your help on Wikipedia:Mirrors and Forks.... ;-) JesseW 22:39, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
I did a major edit to organise the article into proper sections to give people scope for including material and also to make it NPOV. It needs more precise detail and hard facts but I've done what I can. Most new information should slot in fairly well. You were looking at it before and it's been sitting there untinkered with for a while so I figured I'd bring it to your attention for tinkering purposes Bandraoi 21:52, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

The Fureys
[edit]The article The Fureys has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 16:13, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
