[edit]
Possibly someone could scan the back of the Half-Blood Prince cover and crop out the Dark Mark and upload it here?
movie picture
[edit]I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this but I've edited the movie picture to make it much easier to see the dark mark. If this is ok, how would I go about putting it into the article?

Forearm
[edit]Is the Dark Mark on the right, the left, or either forearm? It would be worth noting here. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 14:53, July 25, 2005 (UTC)
-I believe it's always on the left arm; Barty Crouch Jr., Peter Pettigrew, Professor Snape, and Igor Karkaroff all had it branded on that arm. --Thrashmeister 21:20, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

to the guys who are taking care of this page...maybe you should change the picture to the one shown in the GOF trailer. I like this one but as you have used movie pictures for other harry potter stuff, you might wanna change this too.
--In response to the above poster, I added the one from the movie as well. It'll be deleted if someone doesn't...do...something. I really don't know, I'm new here. --Thrashmeister 21:21, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
--Just finished reading the 7th book. It states clearly in "The Deathly Hallows" that the mark is on the left forearm of every DeathEater
Quidditch World Cup
[edit]I changed the Quidditch World Cup section which incorrectly stated: during which a number of former Death Eaters seize a number of muggles and make a show of levitating them high in the air. AS far I remember--muggles were not present at the Quidditch World Cup, considering Quidditch is a wizard-only sport! I changed the word muggles to wizards.
- The attacks took place on a Muggle-run campsite where the Roberts family were intimidated, levitated, and humiliated at the hands of a group of Death Eaters, so the passage is correct. Refer to the first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for confirmation. Rob Church 18:46, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
The Fake Galleons
[edit]In the fifth book, where Hermione uses fake Galleons to call members of Dumbledore's Army, she said that she "sort of got the idea" (not actual quote) from the Dark Mark. I was wondering if this little tidbit should be added?
- Done. -Phi*n!x 02:44, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
