Name

The name Eudial is pretty obviously derived from the mineral Eudialyte (Na4(Ca, Ce, Fe, Mn)2ZrSi6O17(OH, Cl)2).

--Eudial 19:40, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I just watched the Subbed version of Her first apperarance. In the japanse version it has her name as Eugeal both in the text and vocal. They are either pronunced the same or I heard wrong.Lego3400: The Sage of Time 02:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

They are basically the same. It's just a difference in the translation. The Katakana character for "di" (dee) can also be pronounced as "ji" (gee). -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 02:28, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Exactly right. 'Eudial' and 'Eugeal' are spelled and pronounced the same in Japanese; the reason we know how to really spell it is because eudialyte exists, but eugealite (eugealyte) doesn't. --Masamage 02:38, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Aesthetics

This page looks horrible right now, mainly because of the picture of Tellu. It needs a more streamlined look. Danny Lilithborne 12:31, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Heights

Are the height measurements listed on the page accurate? Where did they come from? I've never really been successful at finding official heights for any Sailor Moon characters besides Sailor Moon herself and, oddly, Sailor Pluto.

Clean-up

I reverted the page back to the anonymous version and marked it for clean-up. Not being familiar with the manga, I'm not 100% sure that the information on this page is correct. I've heard that the manga alias names may not be 100% correct (last I heard, there was some controversy around Ian Miller's translations, explanations, etc.). Little help? Danny Lilithborne 02:09, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

This article uses four screenshots. We're only allowed one. --Masamage 18:35, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Well, had those four screenshots were from the same episode, we would be in some trouble. Unless you can find an image with all the sisters, and as long as the sections about the sisters are there, I see no real problems. -- ReyBrujo 02:45, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I posted this before Kunzite responded quite adequately to the other one. ^^ --Masamage 03:41, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Tellu's alias

In the subtitles of Sailor Moon S Tellu's alais is written as Lulu Teruno. The article says "Ruru", but I'm pretty sure they were going for "Lulu". I mean, it does match her name more (ex. Mimete = Mimi) and "Lulu" is easier to say than "Ruru". -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 19:13, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. --Masamage 03:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

The "R" sound does not exist in Japan and is pronounced as an "L" Sound. A notiable example is Kirara from InuYasha. The dub and orginal pronuce it KiLaLa but it is spelled (in roman letters) with r's. --User:Lego3400

Yeah, there are lots of different romanization techniques. --Masamage 00:12, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
The r and l sound in Japanese are BLENDED. It's not that Japanese lacks one sound over the other, it's that the romanization by Hepburn decided to go with the r over the l in romanizing. ^_^ I took Japanese. If you look closely to "Haruka" you can pick up an rl sound rather than just an r or just an l this is due to the placing of the tongue in the mouth is between the r and the l. --Hitsuji Kinno 18:37, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Twin

"Cyprine and Ptilol (Cyprin and Peirol in the dub) are, together, considered the fifth of the Witches 5. It is unclear whether Ptilol is Cyprine's twin or just an extension of Cyprine's power; Naoko Takeuchi states the former in the Materials Collection, yet they seem to act as one."

Does anyone else see an issue with this sentence.. It's unclear earlier and then later, but the creator said... --;; Uhh.. I'd go with the "creator" over the "unclear" Anyone object? If it's OK, then the next person can fix it.

Done! -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 18:48, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Semi-protect

Can we get this page protected? Someone keeps changing 'Mimet' to 'Mimette' and now they're switching IP addresses. --Masamage 05:14, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

It happened again. --Masamage 02:51, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
What exactly do we have to do to get a page protected? -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 07:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
I guess just go ahead and request a semi-protection and give them the reasons. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 09:27, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Idea

I had an idea... Ya know that bit of footage that shows the witch's 5's Door in the anime they show almost every epiisode... I thought i screen shot of that would look nice up at the top (In place of a logo) Lego3400: The Sage of Time 16:29, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Seems more decorative than illustrative... --Masamage 19:11, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

it keept changeing by puting a5 paper on it saying 4 3 2 ect lol its grate to see they have so much respect for each other Sailor cuteness 16:52, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that cracks me up. XD (Besides the fact that they mostly kill eachother off...) --Masamage 19:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

so the health plans not grate but at lest you get a truck that comes out nowhere and ignores driving laws Sailor cuteness 16:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

We can now use it in that box an CLAIM it is there logo or what ever, since they never all appear at once.Lego3400: The Sage of Time 17:19, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

I gess but I think it was just a sign on the door to say its there offece and because they keeo changing its not realy a logo ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 19:00, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

It's definitely not a logo. And there are shots of them all working in the shadows of the laboratory, I'm pretty sure... --Masamage 01:59, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Cyprine and Phitol never appears in the lab. (they only appear in Tomoe's office). The only time more than one of them appear in the lab is shortly before Euidel's death and they are all shadowy. You can't tell its them. The office door is the best we got.... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lego3400 (talkcontribs) 15:46, 21 March 2007 (UTC).
what about the symbol on there daiman suit case thingy?? ♥Eternal Pink-Ready to fight for love and grace♥ 16:47, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Too obscure, I think. The sign on the door is certainly not our only choice, but it would make a pretty good lead. My only concern is whether it qualifies as fair use, what with only kind of being an illustration, but I guess we can find out. And we can talk about how they tape over it when people die. --Masamage 21:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Notes

Lulu is not a Japanese name. Tellu's real name is Ruru Teruno. Tellu's dub voice is Kristen Bishop. Viluy's dub voice is Catherine Disher. Cyprine and Ptilol's dub voices are Susan Aceron. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.97.199.49 (talk) 19:01, 19 March 2007 (UTC).

We have someone who asked Susan Aceron which voices she did and she only did Sailor Pluto. --Masamage 01:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Lulu is NOT a Japanese name. Her real name was Ruru Teruno, NOT Lulu!!!

Catherine Disher also voiced Viluy in the dub and Kirsten Bishop voiced Tellu. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.97.199.49 (talkcontribs)

Her name was an obvious pun and so it is presented that way. Also, we need sources before we can include your information. --Masamage 18:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Um... hate to point out the obvious, but L and R are the same in Japanese, so "Lulu" and "Ruru" are equally correct romanisations. 91.105.7.141 01:37, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Dub voices for Tellu and Viluy

I personally believe that Kirsten Bishop was the voice of Tellu and that Catherine Disher did the voice for Viluy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dexshurun (talkcontribs) 15:53, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Not according to IMDB, I'm afraid. --Masamage 20:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Then who was it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dexshurun (talkcontribs) 21:54, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Minor development thing

In the Picture Collection, Cyprine and Ptilol were slated to have low cut boots, however in the final version of their design they were given heels. (Just noticed as part of my Tarot card project)--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 16:55, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Cormorant

I think this can be included in the daimons created when Mimete takes in charge. In the anime, it was discussed by Professor Tomoe that the new breed of daimons were derived from Cormorants or cormorant fishing... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mines32 (talkcontribs)

I think a better place would be in the Death Busters article. We should have a Daimon section there, like we have Phage at Shadow Galactica and youma at Dark Kingdom, but it hasn't been created yet. --Masamage 16:06, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
