Palatal consonants
[edit]In this article palatal consonant phonemes are written as xʲ (nʲ, kʲ, etc.). I understand that this is what the sources do but on the other hand the same phonemes are written differently for other languages (e.g., ɲ instead of nʲ for Voiced palatal nasal). Do you think it would make sense to wikilink the corresponding articles (for example, nʲ)? What sources can be used for that? Alaexis¿question? 08:05, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Russian palatalized consonants are similar to but not the same as palatal consonants used in other languages. The Voiced palatal nasal has only palatal articulation, but [nʲ] has dental and palatal articulations. Burzuchius (talk) 08:09, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
