- Admins, if you speedy something that is listed on VFD, would you please be so kind as to stop by and state your rationale. User:fvw has objected that this is not a CSD, and it would be good form to respect that objection with a brief explanation. Particularly so, as this would appear to be a judgement call. - Speedy deletes are always supposed to be non-controversial. Since this one was contested, it must suffer the full time on VfD. Temporarily restored to allow VfD to continue. (My vote, by the way, is regular delete as vanity.) Rossami (talk) 05:24, 22 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I've just noted elsewhere (VfD:NAMC) that a number of editors have placed speedy and delete tags on the same article at the same time; this does create the possibility to complicate matters. Only one should be used (speedy if relevant, changing to delete if discussion ensues) but when something has been listed by others and there is no comment (at that time) then I believe we should trust admins to make an informed decision along the lines of the rules but also making use of their experience when appropriate and sensible to do so. --Vamp:Willow 18:48, 22 Dec 2004 (UTC)
