[edit]In this article there is nothing distinguishing about Brad. I think there should be some mention about his headphones. Brad always wears headphones when on stage. He says that he can't reveal his motivation, but that it has something to do with the matrix (not the movies, the REAL matrix). lparklover
- Well, feel free to add it yourself, as long as you respect our neutrality policies and our formats. We encourage people to be bold in editing! Best, Meelar 01:22, 5 Jun 2004 (UTC)
- WTF is "the REAL matrix"? if you're going to post information like that, you'd better link to what you're talking about, as there are several different meanings of the term "matrix" depending about what your talking about.65.43.223.245 12:44, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Guitar
[edit]What kind of guitar does Brad have? I would like to know myself, as well as it would be a must to put in this article.--Martin925 01:18, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
He plays a PRS Custom 24 quite a bit. He has a black one and a red one, both with the hybrid theory warrior on them. Beyond that, I dunno. Gewehr
If anyone saw the new AOL sessions, he's got a black guitar that's definitely not a PRS. it's got a similar headstock and body shape but it's definitely not a PRS. anybody know what it is? 71.221.244.105 07:50, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
What's with the weasel words?
[edit]Ridiculous and simplistic are just two of these that appear throughout the article... 68.195.47.239 18:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Reason for headphones
[edit]"There's speculation that he wears the headphones because he has a slight hearing problem, and needs to wear them during concerts."
Where is the source of this information? If it's purely a user's speculation, it doesn't belong in the article. I removed it for now, but if there's factual evidence to back it up, then we can put it back in.FyreNWater 08:18, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Overall Revamp
[edit]I'm in the process of editing the entire article. Don't worry, I'm not getting rid of facts that are already in it. I'm just fixing some grammar, and the article's overall structure. If this is a problem, let me know. I just know I'm not the only Brad fan out there who had a few problems with this page. I'd also like to get rid of that little "this article needs clean up" box. :) Ohaiciarra (talk) 06:15, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
solos
[edit]there is a solo in What I've Done, The Little Things Give You Away, In Pieces, Shadow of the Day, the live version of Faint, and in a few live recordings of Given Up. Someone added No More Sorrow (which I removed) but for the record it does NOT contain a guitar solo in any version.
- The only one of those which is an actual solo is In Pieces. The others are simply bridges. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.101.131.155 (talk) 00:59, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- can't find a solo in "the" live version of faint. live in texas? so this should be removed if i'm not wrong. 213.196.210.74 (talk) 18:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Notability tag added?
[edit]I have removed this per my edit summary. I have never heard of this page but I am an old fuddy duddy. Maybe somebody with music knoweledge can help :) Thanks, --Tom 14:48, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- I replaced it per my edit summary. His band is notable, certainly. He does not appear to be notable outside of the band, and as notability is not inherited, that means his notability is in question. TheJazzDalek (talk) 15:13, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- I admitt total ignorance on this "issue". Being "just" a member of a notable bands means no individual notablility and no individual bio? I am a minimalist/deletionist so that would be fine by me if that is actually how this "works". Can you point me to the appropriate policy page for this or is it in WP:BIO? TIA --Tom 20:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- WP:MUSIC#Criteria for musicians and ensembles. (Particularly relevant: "Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases.") TheJazzDalek (talk) 20:20, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, about that. Use of that WP here is clearly an arbitrary and capricious reading of the rules. I'm sure said notability gag is useful elsewhere, but I dare say that if UCLA honors him as notable, Wikipedia should follow suit. 24.247.77.33 (talk) 13:46, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Self-reference.
[edit]So, the Wikipedia article says that Brad identifies as Jewish and the citation of evidence given is a Jewish Journal article. The problem is that the Jewish Journal article cites the Wikipedia article as evidence of Brad identifying as Jewish. Basically, this citation is a self-reference loop and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.138.218.167 (talk) 15:00, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
