Pah vs. Pagh
[edit]Brian Kendig wrote: the correct spelling is "Pagh", not "Pah" - the 'g' is silent; would someone please also swap this page with its redirect?
Joy wrote: actually, no, it isn't. Pagh is the term for that inner thing that the Bajorans can feel by touching their ears, whereas these Pah Wraiths are something different. source: startrek.com and memoryalpha
Actually, the correct spelling is "Pagh", according to Ron Moore: http://trekweb.com/RonDMoore/RonDMoore-9.14.98.html 98.213.54.68 (talk) 05:30, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Winn's end
[edit]This sentence in the article is inaccurate:
"Winn, who had abandoned her faith in the Prophets, returns to them and undergoes a change of heart, sacrificing her life in an attempt to stop Dukat"
Winn does not return to her faith. Moments before her supposed "sacrifice", in an attempt to gain personal power by embracing the Pah-wraith (in hopes that they would choose her as their Emissary), she has poisoned & attempted to kill Dukat in order to sacrifice him to the Pah-wraith to bring them back to power Then, over his (supposedly dead) body, she announces to the Pah-wraiths that "I am yours, now and forever." It is only after the Pah-wraiths ignore her pleas, blast her into a wall, and resurrect Dukat, and only after an angry, powerful Dukat ridicules her and announces that the Pah-wraith plan to set the entire universe on fire ("to burn for all eternity") that she realizes she is in big trouble. When Dukat seems to defeat Sisko, Winn attempts to stop Dukat with the same book she used to summon the Pah-wraith. But that does not mark any return to her faith in the Prophets, merely an attempt at self-preservation. Dukat easily takes the book from her hands and burns her to death. The character of Winn is always motivated by a quest for personal power and glory. When she fails to get it from the Prophets, she switches sides to the Pa-wraith. Her last ditch attempt to use the book to stop Dukat is merely another selfish attempt to stay alive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.246.69.110 (talk) 18:36, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
