I'm a student at Utah State University studying physics and information systems, with interests in pretty much everything else. (and to answer the inevitable question, nope, I'm not a mormon, don't wear 'holy underwear', haven't a single wife, etc. :-)

Stumbled upon this encyclopedia summer of 2002, I was really impressed by the amount of work put into the detailed and thoughtful contributions, as well as the near absence of any BS posts (maybe the world can get along...). Other than porn, access to varied viewpoints and useful information is the most important aspect of the internet revolution, and as people become more knowledgable, hopefully they will become less tolerant to abuse by people in power and this world will become a better place. So I encourage you all to contribute anytime you see an area you have knowledge in.
