"ORTF stereo microphone system" probably should have its own article but in its current form is far too technical. Lee M 03:23, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I've tried in this section to put some shape on the material previously included under the previous (rather cryptic) heading "The New Consortium". Mostly, though, it's a little bit about the situation before and a lot about what happened after the formation of the ORTF, so I'm not sure it sits well in this article. -- Picapica (talk) 13:20, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Incidentally, it's now nearly four years (!) since someone, from a now blocked account, incorrectly changed the abbreviation OFRT (Organisme français de radiodiffusion et de télévision) into ORTF.
